Sunny weekend and longer evenings

Does it get any better than that!? No siree... Had a lovely weekend in fact, after the initial bad start with overcast, the sky cleared up and I think it was the sunniest and warmest weekend in a very long time. At least for me.

We also dared to go for a short swim in the ocean, I'd say it's about 20 degrees or so. Not supercomfy, but with a hot sun and a sore head, it was very refreshing.

I also love the fact that we are now on SUMMER TIME!!!! This leaves an extra hour of sunshine after work and I'm gonna make my best to utilise it fully. Now we're talking! Happy working week to all, may next weekend come just as fast!

Waiting for sun

Of course, since it's the weekend and we are off, the weather is not the best. We had planned to go down to the beach and be there all day today, so I was up at eight in the morning. To my disappointment, it was of course overcast and I spend the day watching "So you think you can dance - Scandinavia" instead. But now finally, it seems like the sun is breaking through. And it's only 13.30, so still time to top up the "tan"...

Oh happy days!

Not So Secret Spaces in London

The Kensal Green Cemetary is one of the places in London that I really like. Morbid? Yes! But beautiful... Actually, most cemetaries in England are kinda nice, they have lush green areas, hardly no people (live at least) in them and they are great for adventures back in time.

Another high profile cemetary not to miss is the Highgate Cemetary, where Karl Marx among others is buried. It is also known for the 1970's vampires. Find out more on the web before taking the tour.

Another nice place, and much less morbid, is the secret garden in St John's Lodge in Regents Park. I loved sitting in this park reading a book, watching the clouds in the sky. Will return here ASAP. You should too, if you can find it.

Time for positive thinking

Back on the rock after some time off the rock. Suddenly it all seems much nicer. I have decided to take a much more positive approach to life on this rock, to concentrate more on work, life and myself. Time to get busy, time to get more serious! However, this space is my space, and I will wander off from time to time. On the rock, but off it, sort of!

Rock on!
